For many default LLCs, money you transfer to yourself is usually an equity transaction, not an expense. If owner draws are recorded incorrectly, your profit and loss report can look very wrong.

Wondering how to pay yourself from your LLC? The Wondering how to pay yourself from your LLC?

The answer depends on how your LLC is taxed.

•	A default single-member LLC usually pays the owner through an owner’s draw.
•	An LLC taxed as an S corp usually needs payroll for reasonable compensation, with possible distributions after that.
•	A multi-member LLC should follow the operating agreement.

The key is this: your owner pay should match your tax setup and be recorded correctly in your books.

Bread and butter pickles are one of my favorites — Bread and butter pickles are one of my favorites — sweet, tangy, crunchy, and perfect on sandwiches or straight from the jar.

But a lot of recipes include turmeric, and that flavor is not something I really enjoy. So, this version skips the turmeric and leans into the good stuff: vinegar, sugar, onion, mustard seed, celery seed, and optional spice. (always adjust recipes to your taste!)

Small batch. Fridge-friendly. No canning project required.
